As Travis Software (Travis) welcomes 2013, we wanted to take a moment to extend our deepest gratitude to each of our customers for your continued business. Serving customers is our number one priority, and we are happy that you continue to turn to us to provide you with the tools for COBRA administration and help us remain the leader in COBRA administration software solutions.
The beginning of 2013 is an extremely busy time for Travis. Not only are we putting the finishing touches on the new WebCOBRA release – WebCOBRA 2.0 – and scheduling upgrades to this new release, but we are also working to release a new product that expands our offerings in the benefits administration market with Travis Benefits & HR (TBHR)! TBHR is a benefits administration system with a human resources component. While there are plenty of human resource systems on the market, none have a true focus of benefits administration and all are extremely expensive. TBHR provides the ability to offer benefits administration and HR services to small and mid-size businesses that would otherwise not be able to have these system features.
In addition, on December 31, Travis was acquired by Volaris Group (Volaris) – an international company with considerable experience helping to grow software companies like ours. Volaris acquires, strengthens, and grows vertical market technology companies, enabling them to be clear leaders within their focused industry. The acquisition of Travis represents an expansion into the Benefits Administration market.
Travis continues to operate as a separate entity and the entire Travis staff remains in place, led by Lauren Williams Fischer, Managing Director at Travis. “To get to the next stage of growth, we needed someone who would understand the complexities involved in delivering software to a highly regulated market. We found that home with Volaris. We are excited by the opportunities that await us as part of the Volaris team,” said Fischer.
Here at Travis, we will continue to provide our customers with the best service in the market, and joining Volaris gives us the ability to expand our capabilities and enhance our system offerings. Should you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call. Everyone at Travis is very excited about this new relationship and the many doors that it will open.
