TravisCobra Internet Access Module

The TravisCobra Internet Access Module, part of the TravisCobra family of user-installed COBRA Software, is composed of two modules: The Administrator Module and the PQB & DOL Module. The Administrator Module resides at the Administrator (TPA) site. The PQB (Qualified Beneficiary) & DOL (Department of Labor) Module resides on your Web Server and acts as part of your organization's website.

Administrator Module
The Administrator Module of Travis-Cobra Internet Access Module controls the flow of client information to the internet from TravisCobra for Windows, as well as new employee and qualified beneficiary information to TravisCobraTM for Windows from the internet.

The transfer of information can be done manually on any frequency by the administrator or scheduled to be processed automatically by the system. The Administrator Module also controls the security of the information on the internet. All user access to the PQB & DOL Module is initially setup by the administrator in this module.

PQB & DOL Module
Once you've created a user record within the Administrator Module, a client/employer and/or their qualified beneficiaries (PQBs) may log in to the PQB & DOL Module on your web site. Each user is prompted to Login. The user is prompted to enter an access code (employer code), their Social Security Number and a Password (created by the Administrator). After the user's initial login, they are prompted to enter their own password. This keeps the PQB & DOL Module secure and available to each user (client). You as the Administrator can change passwords at any time if the user forgets his/her password.

The client/employer may enter the names of new benefit-eligible employees (so they may be sent the COBRA General Notice) and the names and other information about new qualified beneficiaries (PQBs). Client/Employers can also view the status of their PQBs, including payment and enrollment status. Information entered is automatically downloaded to TravisCobra.

PQBs may also login to TravisCobra Internet Access Module to see their remaining enrollment period, continuation status and premium payment receipt status. This capability is designed to reduce phone calls to the administrator.

If you have questions about the Module or more information about the system itself, please call Travis Marketing at 281.496.3737, ext 103.
