Travis Software Corp. Announces Arrangement with Worner Software for Web System Implementation

We are pleased to announce that Travis Software Corp. has formed an arrangement with Worner Software which is designed to streamline the implementation of our Web-based systems, TravisCobra/Web, TravisFlex/Web and the upcoming GBILL/Web, for our users.

Worner Software, based in Houston, is a website programming firm with a high level of knowledge of the architecture of the Travis Web systems as a result of doing several implementations of those systems during the past year. Through the arrangement we have struck with Worner Software, customers of Travis who license copies of any of Travis' Web modules can have Worner do the implementation for a flat fee of $500 per system!

You no longer have to hire a website designer or contract programmer in your area in order to implement our Web system, and you may find Worner's pricing lower than using your own in-house programmers' time. All you have to do is (1) engage Worner Software (via email) to do the implementation, (2) provide them with access codes into your website so they can add the "buttons" to your homepage that access the Web system operating as a subpage to your website and link the subpage to your website, and (3) pay them the $500 when they invoice you after the work is done.

Once you engage Worner and give them the software and necessary access codes, you can expect your copy of the Travis Web system to be installed and available to you, generally within one calendar week.

Worner's staff will implement our systems on your own webserver if you host your own website or co-locate a server at an ISP. However, if your organization's website operates on a public server at an ISP, Worner can arrange to have your copy of Travis' Web systems installed on any of several national ISP's who will host the Travis' Web systems for a monthly fee that typically does not exceed $100 and is invoiced to you directly by the ISP.

What many people don't know is that the Internet is truly a network! Your main website can operate on an ISP in Omaha, for example, but the subpage that is your copy of the Travis Web system can operate on another ISP's servers in New York. Or Los Angeles. Or any city in the country!

Worner has relationships with these national ISP's (but receives no compensation from them), will implement the Travis Web module on their secure servers in a turnkey fashion for you for its very modest one-time fee of $500. Your clients and their employees will literally never know that the Travis Web module is hosted at another location from your main website. Access will be just as fast as if the Web system were on your ISP's servers, but by using Worner the implementation is going to be very easy.

As an aside, Travis receives none of the fees you pay Worner - we've been impressed by the knowledge Worner's staff has of how to implement Travis' Web systems, are confident that the implementation will go smoothly if they are involved, and want our users to have access at very reasonable prices to "turnkey" implementation.

Once the Web system is implemented, Worner's role is complete and your people will begin working with Travis' own Customer Support group to begin moving data from your copy of TravisCobra, TravisFlex or GBILL onto the Web system, and begin to offer Web access to your clients and their employees.

We have worked with a large number of website programmers who have been hired by our clients to implement our Web systems, and I can say with confidence that none of the ones with whom we have had contact has half the knowledge of implementing a Travis Web system that the Worner staff has.

Coincident with this announcement, Travis' Customer Support staff will begin supporting customers on the Web systems only after they have successfully implemented the Web-based system, using either Worner or another programming source. We have developed a program to be provided to Web system customers free of charge that will verify the Web system has been properly implemented on an Internet Server. As soon as the results of that test program demonstrate that the Web system has been properly implemented, then the Travis support team will begin helping you and your coworkers understand how to use the system, implement the module that refreshes the Web system's data, etc.

If you would like to engage Worner Software to implement your copy of the Travis Web systems, or if you have yet to license your copy of the Web systems but are thinking of doing so if there is an easy path to implementation, please contact Worner Software at jworner@wornersoftware.com.
