TravisFlex to add HRA Administration, Multiple Payroll Processor, Other Features

Travis Software is currently modifying its TravisFlex software system to add the ability to administer the New Healthcare Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA's) recently confirmed by the IRS. The HRA administrative capabilities and other major new features will be added to a new version of the system planned for release during September 2002.

These improvements will be part of TravisFlex Release 7.0. The features will be demonstrated at Travis' display at the ECFC Administrators Conference to be held in Reno, Nevada on August 16-18.

Other major new features also found in Release 7.0 include a new "Multiple-Payroll Posting" function, allowing several payrolls for multiple employers to be posted with one command. Also, new reports and changes to existing reports will be added to the system in this new release.

Another enhancement to be included in Release 7.0 is the New "Download File Mapper" which will allow user to take data files (Excel, text, etc.) in any format and "translate" those files into the TravisFlex Download Module format. The Downloading Module allows the importing of Employer, Dependent, Benefit Participation, Payroll Deduction and Claim information, sharply reducing the need for keyboard entry of data.

One additional new capability which users of both the Company's TravisFlex and TravisCobra systems will enjoy is an automatic data exchange interface between the two systems, which will be unveiled as part of Release 7.0 of TravisFlex, and coincidentally as part of Release 7.0 of TravisCobra. As an example of how the interface will function, when an employee whose information is stored in TravisFlex has a COBRA Qualifying Event, their benefit plan (including Healthcare Reimbursement Arrangement participation information) and qualifying event information will be automatically transferred from TravisFlex to TravisCobra so that a COBRA Election Notice can be printed without any information required to be key-entered by COBRA system operators.

The new release of TravisFlex will be shipped to system users subscribing to the Support and Update Plan for the system. Subscribers will pay nothing for the HRA Administration function and the other new capabilities.
