New Release of TravisFlex/mbi Flex Convenience Card Interface Sent to Customers
Travis Software has today begun shipments of the newest version of its flagship flexible benefit/cafeteria plan software system, TravisFlex Release 6.8, which includes several changes to the debit card interface making it much easier to use so that transactions may be sent and received between TravisFlex and mbi.
TravisFlex Release 6.8's changes are the result of ideas from the Travis staff, input from current users of the debit card interface and from Medibank, Inc., issuer of the mbi Flex Convenience card. The new release is designed to make using the interface easier for today's users and for organizations who choose to use the interface in the future.
TravisFlex's interface to debit cards permits automatic downloading of transactions when debit cards are used to pay for qualified health care expenses funded by employees' flexible benefit spending accounts, for parking and transit expenses funded by Section 132 Parking/Transit accounts, and by health care expenses covered by the new Healthcare Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) recently approved by the IRS. The interface also supports the coordination of "manual" or the traditional paper claims, which are submitted by employees who carry flexible benefit debit cards.
