New TravisCobra Module - You Don't Have to Make Copies of Your COBRA Letters Any More

For the past several years Travis software engineers have been trying to figure out a way for the voluminous letters and notices produced by TravisCobra to be stored automatically after they are printed or emailed. After all, if you can avoid having to print and save file copies of each of those letters because the system is storing them and giving you the capability to view or print any letter whenever you need to do so, the value you are receiving from the system has been increased dramatically. And your costs associated with copying and filing COBRA letters have been eliminated!

Some of our existing users have been backing up each Automatic Processing run to a ".PDF" file, but in order to retrieve a particular letter to a specific PQB they first had to know the date the letter was printed, go into that day's file, and then find and view or print the letter.

What we have been trying to do is find a way to automatically file the all letters produced during Automatic Letter Processing (including the DOL Notices) BY PQB, so that one or all of the letters sent to any PQB can be easily accessed, viewed and/or printed, without the need for you to know what date they were generated in order to retrieve them.

We've done it! The TravisCobra Document Storage and Retrieval Module has been developed. We're using this email to announce to you that once it is installed in conjunction with the copy of TravisCobra that you've been considering, it can allow you to forget having to copy and file COBRA letters ever again.

The Module automatically saves any letter produced by Automatic Processing and keeps it available for display or printing. The letters and notices are organized by the PQB to whom they are addressed, so that any and all letters and/or notices produced to a PQB after installation of the Module can be displayed on your monitor or printed, as required. You can display or print ALL of the letters printed to any one PQB after installation of the module. You can even display/print the Notifications sent to carriers detailing new enrollments and terminations.

How did we do it? It took a lot of very tough, specialized work! We wanted to minimize the disk storage space required to store all the letters, while giving you the ability to display or print only the ones you wished to see. That's been done, and we think you will agree with us that this capability will significantly add to the utility you get from the system. And save you a great deal of time and money currently being spent copying and filing the letters.

The Document Storage and Retrieval Module is being offered as a new member of the TravisCobra product family. We think this is the most significant new capability added to TravisCobra during the past five years!
