New Release of TravisFlex In Final Test Now
Houston, TX -- August 11, 2004 -- We'd like you to know that TravisFlex 7.15 with the new HSA (and other major) features is currently in the final testing phase. Listed below are the highlights of what's new in TravisFlex 7.15. We believe the two new claim processing features listed below, along with the HSA enhancements, will make TravisFlex 7.15 a very beneficial upgrade for you. We expect to make the new release available to you shortly after Labor Day.
Check Printing from ADMIN
The feature many of our users have been asking for -- you will now be able to process checks from the Administrator level while using different starting check numbers for your various employers. With this feature you will be able to use different check stock with different check numbers for different companies when processing claims from the Administrator level.
Claim Denial
A new claim denial process is available that will generate a new letter and allow for a claim appeal process. This new process allows an employee to appeal a denied claim for up to 180 days after the claim is denied. You will then be able to review any claim that is under appeal then accept or deny an appeal. If no appeal is made or if an appeal is denied, then a final claim denial letter will print.
HSA Enhancements
We have done a great deal of work adding capabilities to the HSA administration functions in TravisFlex. Here are some highlights:
- Trustee Grouping -- Trustee Grouping allows you to group employers together when performing HSA direct deposit. Each Trustee Group can have its own direct deposit account and all employees in the Trustee Group will be on the same direct deposit file.
- HSA Interest Allocation -- This allows you to distribute interest accrued to all employees with an HSA account. The amount of interest distributed to each employee will be dependent on the employee's balance.
- Account "Stacking" (with modified Downloader) -- Account Stacking allows an HSA expense to be paid out of an employee's FSA or HRA if the HSA has run out of funds. If a claim is entered that is greater than the balance of an employee's HSA, the system will inform you there is not enough money to fully pay this claim out of the HSA then ask you if you would like the remainder of the claim to be paid out of the employee's FSA or HRA, whichever is applicable.
- New Adjustment -- A new type of adjustment called "Investment Disbursement/Deposit" has been added. This will affect the employee's balance.
- HSA Rollover -- Similar to Parking, Transit, MSA, Adoption Assistance and HRA accounts, HSA balances can be rolled over to the New Year.
Also, you'll be able to include fees for HSA administration on the TravisFlex-printed fee invoices and we are including HSA macros in the Custom Check Writer.
This new release will be the first TravisFlex release to be distributed to you electronically. When the release is ready you'll receive an announcement email that will have an Internet address at which your configuration of the system can be found. You will be able to download the software, installation/upgrade instructions and documentation from that Internet address, just as if you had received a CD.
The advantage of this method (which we've been using for our TravisCobra new releases for the past year) is that not only will you be able to quickly download and install the new release, but also we will be able to send out "mini-release" updates to you once you install Release 7.15. The mini-releases will add features, correct errors and keep your system up-to-date with the latest version of TravisFlex, and allow Travis to respond to those needs much more quickly and effectively than can be done when using CDs.
So look for the release announcement of Version 7.15 of TravisFlex, coming next month.
