Travis Software Announces WebCOBRA, The Complete Web-Based COBRA Administration System from the Company that Invented COBRA Software

Houston, TX, November 12, 2004 -- Travis Software Corp., market leader in COBRA software since 1986, has announced that it will begin offering WebCOBRA, an Internet-based COBRA/HIPAA administration system, in January, 2005.

Travis has provided employers, insurers and third-party administrators with COBRA/HIPAA software for the past 18 years, achieving a dominant position in the Cobra software marketplace, with over 80% of system placements. The Company's current desktop system, TravisCobra for Windows, will continue to be supported and updated after WebCOBRA is unveiled, and will offer users a choice between using software via the Internet or continuing to use the system they have licensed for use on their own servers.

Fully-functional for use by Cobra administrators, WebCOBRA will be accessible from any Internet-capable PC, and will produce COBRA/HIPAA correspondence, reports and information right in the user's office or home.

WebCOBRA is developed on the Microsoft .NET platform, and makes extensive use of XML, XSLT, and WebServices, making it the most extensible, flexible, and easy to use COBRA Administration system to date.

WebCOBRA runs on the Windows 2003 Server Platform, and is powered by Microsoft SQL Server 2000. It is scheduled to launch in January 2005, and will support Microsoft 2000, XP, and any Microsoft platform running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0+.
