TravisFlex Release 8.0 in Development Now

Houston, TX -- June 28, 2006-- Travis Software Corp., a market leader providing Advanced Employee Benefits Software, announces today TravisFlex Release 8.0 in Development Now.

Travis released Version 7.3 of TravisFlex in January, 2006. That release accommodated the new IRS regulation which reduces the risk of the "use it or lose it" rule for Section 125 plans by allowing an additional 2-1/2 months after the end of a cafeteria plan year in which an employee can submit claims against the prior year's contributions.

Another new version of the system, Version 8.0, will be released at the end of the third quarter, 2006. The highlights of this new release are listed below:

  1. First and foremost, the system will receive a unique and updated look on all the display screens! We have "freshened" the screens. They will look like other new applications designed for Windows XP and like the user interface to be utilized by the Microsoft Windows Vista release due out in early 2007.
  2. The highly anticipated "Sneak Peek" Payroll Deduction feature will also be included in this release of TravisFlex. What this new feature allows for is a "sneak peek" at the payroll deduction and the ability to change this amount "on the fly" right at the time of payroll deduction processing.
  3. Positive Pay File Functionality has been added as well. This major new functionality will provide the ability to quickly identify potentially fraudulent checks via Positive Pay Processing. By quickly and easily setting up the banking institution's positive pay file format, the process can be performed within TravisFlex to produce an initial first pass verification that validates account numbers and funds. This will save users from having to come back into the system days letter when they receive notices from the bank that the wire transfer failed.
