Travis Software Gives TravisBilling an "Extreme Makeover" with Redesigned, Expanded Version 8.0
Houston, TX - February 2, 2007 -- Travis Software Corp., a leader of Advanced Employee Benefits Software Administration and provider of TravisBilling (TBILL) software, announced today the availability of TBILL Release 8.0, with several enhanced features for letters, expanded options to mask Social Security numbers, and a whole new look and feel.
Many new letter related enhancements have been added into TBILL 8.0 including but not limited to the ability to print HIPAA certificates and enrollment/termination notices to the carrier. With 8.0 you will also have the ability to send an address change confirmation letter as well as a coverage takeover letter. A significant enhancement has been added to the Letter Writer module that allows for the editing of blocks.
With the increase in identity theft and an increasing number of state laws governing SSN disclosure, TBILL 8.0 gives users the ability to fine tune when SSNs are used and when they are masked. Newly expanded is the "Omit the Social Security number" option on letters to allow for a more detailed approach. On a state by state basis, the SSN may be omitted, the last four digits of the SSN may be shown, all digits of the SSN may be masked, or the full SSN may be shown.
In addition to the letter and SSN enhancements, the ACH processing has been improved as well. ACH processing has been available from the Employer level, but now with TBILL 8.0 it is available from the Administrator level as well. From the ADMIN level, you can now select the Employers you would like to include in the processing and multiple ACH files will be created.
Travis worked with graphics designers to update the User Interface, creating a more pleasing color landscape; the new User Interface has increased the usability of the system.
"The system received a unique and updated look on all the display screens, giving you a fresh new look," says Alan H. Williams, founder and President of Travis Software Corp. "Our users are excited about the system presented like other new applications designed for Windows XP, as well as the user interface to be utilized by the upcoming new Microsoft Windows release in early 2007."
Additional enhancements are available with this new release and are detailed in the TBILL Release Notes that accompany the release. To find out more about the TBILL 8.0 Release contact Travis Software at www.travisoft.com.
