TravisCobra Release 8.0 in Development Now
Houston, TX -- December 2, 2005 -- Travis Software Corp., a market leader providing Advanced Employee Benefits Software, announces today TravisCobra Release 8.0 in Development Now.
Travis released Version 7.31 of TravisCobra last month. That release contains features related to the new Medicare Part D enrollment requirements we all have to face, as well as some other new capabilities.
Another new version of the system, Version 8.0, will be released before the end of the first quarter of 2006. The highlights of this new release are listed below:
- First and foremost, the system will receive a unique and updated look on all the display screens! We have "freshened" the screens. They will look like other new applications designed for Windows XP and like the user interface to be utilized by the new Microsoft Windows release due out in mid-2006.
- Several new reports are being added, including reports of a "Missing Rate Report" in the benefit plan section of the system so missing rates can be added on plans. There's also a new ability to print labels for employers and a report showing all receivables within a specific date range.
- The PQB record is having an editable field added which can be modified to add the date on which enrollment forms were postmarked. This is in addition to the fields currently in the system allowing the opportunity to record the date the enrollment papers are/were received.
- For multi-employer version users, the invoicing capability will be improved by adding the ability to subtotal the invoice amounts branch-by-branch, and by adding a new report to track fee receipts. Also, inactivation of Employers as of a specified, user-entered date has been added. And, the batch payment feature of the system will now be able to post multiple batches per day.
- Added capabilities will be included to track the progress of upgrades which will confirm that the upgrade was successful once it is finished.
