Travis Software Corp. to Release a Custom Report Writer for TravisFlex for Windows and TravisFlex/CS Systems (Travis written/SQL compatible) During Spring 2002

Our customers have been telling us they want the ability to create their own reports, above and beyond the standard reports already found in our systems, using a Travis-written custom reporting tool built into each of our systems.

During 2002, that's exactly what we're going to give you!

We're pleased to be able to announce that during 2002 we will make the new "Travis Report Builder" available as part of each of our four product families - TravisCobra, TravisFlex, RBILL for Retiree Premium Billing and GBILL for Group Billing/Consolidated Billing. It will work with both the standard Paradox-file versions of the systems as well as the Client-Server versions.

Designed for use by system operators as well as IT professionals, the ReportBuilder will have built-in "templates" allowing extremely easy creation of simple custom-designed printed reports or data files for export. It will also support Structured Query Language (SQL) usage for creation of complex custom reports by advanced users or IT staff members. A detailed Data Dictionary will accompany the ReportBuilder as part of its documentation, so that everyday users will also be able to retrieve data from the Travis files and place it into the custom reports.

The ReportBuilder programming has been completed. Right now we're working on the templates and interfacing with each of the databases used by the four product families, both the standard Paradox and the optional Client-Server data structure. As soon as that interfacing is finished for each product family, we'll sent you a "TravisUpdate" email letting you know that the Report Builder has been released for that product.

We're excited about the increased productivity this new member of our product families promises to give you, and we'll let you know just as soon as the ReportBuilder is available for the Travis systems you use.
