Everyone’s so busy talking about the repeal of the Affordable Care Act that it’s easy to miss other information on the subject. Over the holidays, the Department of Labor released FAQs About Affordable Care Act Implementation Part 35, which provides important clarification for employers and other stakeholders.

The updated FAQs include notification requirements for special enrollment for group health plans, as well as information on the coverage of women’s preventative services and the effect of the new Cures Act on qualified small employer health reimbursement arrangements. The FAQ can be read here.
